Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using CardGrind. By accessing or using our platform, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and CardGrind, LLC ("CardGrind," "we," "us," or "our"), a Delaware limited liability company. By accessing or using cardgrind.com and any related services (the "Platform"), you agree to these Terms in full.

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Platform.

2. Description of Service

CardGrind is a sports card portfolio tracking and market data platform for collectors and investors. The Platform allows users to:

Track their card collection and portfolio value
Access real market pricing data from eBay and community sources
Evaluate potential trades
Contribute to a community transaction database
Access predictive analytics and market intelligence tools

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account and use the Platform. By using CardGrind, you represent that you are at least 18 years old. Minors may only access the Platform through a parent or guardian's account, and the account holder assumes full responsibility for their use.

4. User Accounts

To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:

Provide accurate and complete information during registration
Maintain the security of your account credentials
Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account

5. Free and Paid Tiers

CardGrind offers both free and paid subscription tiers. The WNBA universe is free for Charter Members. Paid subscriptions are available for additional universes including NFL, NBA, Pokemon, and others.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any tier of service, including free tiers, with reasonable notice to users. We will make reasonable efforts to provide advance notice of material changes to the free tier. Charter Member status and free access commitments are subject to these Terms and may be modified with notice.

6. Subscriptions and Billing

Paid subscriptions renew automatically on a monthly or annual basis based on your chosen plan. You authorize us to charge your payment method on file at the start of each billing period.

Free Trial: We offer a 14-day free trial for paid tiers. No credit card is required during the trial. At the end of the trial, your account will not be charged automatically — you must actively upgrade to continue paid access.
Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
Refunds: Refund requests are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Contact [email protected] within 30 days of a charge to request a refund.
Founders Pass: The Founders Pass is a one-time, non-refundable purchase. It is non-transferable and limited to 100 spots. Benefits are tied to the original account holder.

7. Pricing Data Disclaimer

The pricing data, market values, and transaction information provided on CardGrind are for informational purposes only and do not constitute financial advice. CardGrind makes no guarantees regarding the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any pricing data. Community-contributed transaction data reflects user-reported information and has not been independently verified. Users should conduct their own research before making any buying, selling, or trading decisions. CardGrind is not responsible for any financial losses resulting from reliance on platform data.

8. Community Transaction Database

CardGrind allows users to contribute transaction data to a community price guide. By submitting transaction data, you:

Represent that the information is accurate to the best of your knowledge
Grant CardGrind a perpetual, royalty-free license to use, store, and display the contributed data as part of the community dataset
Understand that contributed data may be retained in anonymized, aggregated form even after account deletion to preserve the integrity of the community price guide

9. User-Generated Content

Users may upload content including card photos, transaction records, and other information. You retain ownership of your content but grant CardGrind a license to display and use it within the Platform. You agree not to upload content that is illegal, infringing, or violates these Terms.

10. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

Sell, transfer, or assign your account or Charter Member status to another person
Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Platform
Scrape, harvest, or collect data from the Platform without authorization
Submit false or misleading transaction data to the community database
Interfere with the proper functioning of the Platform

11. Intellectual Property

CardGrind and its content, features, and functionality are owned by CardGrind, LLC and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our Platform without express written permission.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CardGrind's liability to you for any claims arising from your use of the Platform is limited to the amount you paid to CardGrind in the six (6) months preceding the claim. CardGrind is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.

You have one (1) year from the date a cause of action arises to bring a claim against CardGrind.

13. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. CardGrind does not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any defects will be corrected.

14. Dispute Resolution

Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform will first be addressed through informal negotiation. If the dispute cannot be resolved within 30 days of written notice, it will be submitted to binding arbitration in Delaware under the rules of the American Arbitration Association. CardGrind will pay arbitration fees if they are deemed excessive. Any litigation, if arbitration is not applicable, shall take place in Delaware.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

16. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email. Continued use of the Platform after notice constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
